CEO Welcome - April 2021
I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter break with loved ones. Like many of you, my Easter break included an Easter egg hunt with the kids and relaxing with family.
ANZAC Day is very close to our hearts at Bethanie. We have many brave veterans that we care for across our sites at Bethanie and over the next week, we will be holding ANZAC celebrations to honour the men and women who served Australia. Keep your eyes peeled for photos across our channels.
Another important milestone has been the release of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety final report. This was a momentous occasion for the aged care sector and will hopefully be the first step for positive reform. Bethanie welcomed the commencement of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and would like to acknowledge the extensive work that has been undertaken by the Commissioners.
We are always striving for continuous improvement and will work with Government and industry to implement any changes required. We will also consider if there are any recommendations within the final report Bethanie can implement to improve the quality of care and services we provide.
In this edition, we also include an update on our new aged care home in Dalyellup which has officially commenced construction. I look forward to updating you on this and our other projects throughout the year.
Enjoy reading and I look forward to updating you next time.
